S2E29 - Stay Courageous
Knowledge is power, and having crucial conversations is important. In that spirit, we invited Jennifer Pepper, President and CEO of CHOICES, back into the studio to have one such critical discussion on healthcare access for Tennesseans in light of recent events this summer. New Memphis is committed to developing, activating, & retaining talent to our city, and we dig into how these decisions made at the state-level impact our region and workforce.
NOTE: This episode deals with the topic of reproductive health in the wake of the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Please be aware of the serious nature of these topics before you tune in.
Additional Notes: Please note that this episode discusses topics including Roe v. Wade and the legality of reproductive healthcare that might be triggering to some. This conversation was recorded on July 6th, 2022.
